More work on the canopy fairing. These five shots show that all the holes have been drilled to final size. I have also counter sunk the holes that needed it. The instructions are useless here as the fairing is hand made from glass and carbon fiber. This fairing was less work than the aluminum parts would have been and it fits perfect. Not sure why Van's does not include this part in glass like they do on the "8". All of the metal parts have been primed and will be painted next Saturday. With any luck the canopy will be permanently mounted on Sunday or Monday.

These three shots show the windscreen fairing. It is not perfect yet, but I am happy with it for now. I will finish it before I get the bird painted.
