There are three rows of holes in the fairing now. The top is through the fairing then the canopy and then the aluminum mount. The next row is through the fairing into the canopy frame. The bottom is the fairing and the lower mount that pulls the fairing toward the fuselage.
The filler work on the front fairing is almost finished.
The three rows of mounting holes from the pilots side. The upper gets screws and nuts the middle gets pop rivets and the lower gets AN rivets.
The next two shots show how well the fairing fits. This is without the bottom mount installed so the fairing is not pulled all the way in here.
