IT SURE FEELS GOOD TO BE ABLE TO WORK ON THIS THING AGAIN!!!

THANK YOU SON, RAY. AND MERCEDES FOR THE HELP MOUNTING THE WINGS

The wings are on! However they have to come off again before I drill the rear spar to set the incidence. I cut the rear spar on each wing per the plans, but, they are about 1/8 inch to long. I also forgot to mark the hole locations on the underside fairing so I had to redo the wing mounting anyway.

Just to see if I was going to need to adjust the trailing edge up or down I set up the level on the required blocks. As you can see it came out perfect.

This shot shows how to do the measurement. My digital level is not long enough so I used another longer level to support it, This also lets me check two different bubbles against the digital. All agreed .

Both inboard plumb bobs were off by around 8/32 inches. Both wing tip to rear center of the fuselage agreed to within 1/8 inch. After I trim the two rear spars I will be able to set these to perfect agreement. Maybe I'm being anal , but it is my project and I want it perfect.

One nice thing about having the plane in the hangar is that I get my garage back. It needs some cleaning , but at least it has room for other things.
