MARCH 6, 2004
Today I started with an inspection conducted by Bill Irvine a EAA technical counselor. He identified a few rivets that he said I could re-do if I wanted. These were all cosmetic issues, nothing structural. Needless to say I was a happy camper.
The fuel tank for the left wing is clecoed together.
A shot showing the baffle.
The left main ribs after being dipped in Alodine. Notice the difference in the color. I changed to a new bottle of Alodine and the results were a darker color in the same amount of time.
These are the aileron brackets for the right wing.

Primed ribs in front and the right wing in the back ground.

The bell crank to aileron push rod. I welded it rather than using rivets.
