Today I took the fuel tank apart and started the internal work such as stiffeners.

I also started work on the capacitive fuel gauges.

I dimpled the inboard rib for the ring that holds the access cover on.

I installed the inner rib stiffeners and the attach angle. I also drilled the flop tube attach hole.

A shot of the attach angle. It still needs to be smoothed. Only the front hole will need a flush rivet to clear the nut for the fuel feed hardware.

I drilled the BNC connector hole and the vent hardware hole.

In this shot you can see that I have drilled another hole on the bottom of the rib. This is for the return line from the purge valve. The nutplates are installed and the flop tube is on just to see if it will hit the return line. It looks like it will not interfere.
