I did not take any pictures during the "R and R" that I had to do on the tail spring mount but as you can see it is back together. The mount had to be replaced because the spring was way to loose in the mount. To replace the mount you have to remove the rear bulkhead. No big deal, just time consuming.

The rear bulkhead is now re-riveted. It looked better the first time, but, it will work just fine.

Here is a crappy shot of the extra two wiring conduits that I installed after I had finished the baggage floors and seat pans. This required removing the floors and seat pans, more time going backwards.

A shot from the seat pan end.

The hinges on the new seat pan. It was easier to replace the pan than to reuse the old one.

The pan is now installed.

I will be moving the fuselage to my new hangar very soon to fit the wings. I wanted to use the engine mount as a tie down so I installed it.

This is/was the lower right engine mount pad WD-603. You can see that the bolt hole is very elongated. This requires a replacement to be installed. I'm not sure how I screwed up one hole, I drilled them through the mount, oh well.

I had to drill out several skin rivets to allow the F-684 gusset to be removed. The gusset blocks the WD-603 in place., so I drilled it out.The F-601 spacer in front of the WD-603 is also being replaced.

This is what it looks like with all the parts removed. The replacements parts are on the way and should be installed within a few days of delivery. After that I hope to move into the hangar and make some forward progress. Going backwards really sucks. Oh well, mistakes happen and at least I am able to fix them so that the plane will be safe!!
