Today was a very productive day. First I did a BFR , at CP aviation, Santa Paula. If you need a BFR in a tail dragger and are in So Cal I would highly recommend them. Just my two cents worth, do a spin or two to add to your safety. It had been seven months since I had touched a power aircraft, so I was a bit rusty but I did fine.
Back to the RV. I finished all the prep on both flaps getting ready for tomorrow when I will acid wash, Alodine, and prime the flaps.
I installed and glued the electrical conduit.
I set two "keeper rivets" in the Gretz pitot mount. You can also see the "NyloSeal" pitot line. I still need to drill snap bushing holes for the heater wires for the pitot and get a technical counselor to check everything . After that I will close the wing and be finished with the wings.
